You are not alone. You may be hurt. You may be worried. You may be frightened or confused – cancer has a way of jumbling our thoughts and emotions. But, however you feel at this challenging moment you don’t have to travel this road by yourself – not now, now anymore, not ever.

If you are a cancer patient, or a co-patient – a cancer patient’s spouse or loved one, a caregiver or anyone else touched personally by cancer, Gilda’s Club Memphis is for you. We are here to walk with you on your cancer journey by providing support and services to make your path a little less bumpy and your days a little bit brighter.

Gilda’s Club Memphis is an affiliate chapter of the Cancer Support Community, a global network of local organizations that lend support to anyone on a cancer journey. We leverage the resources and experience of a worldwide organization to offer you the reassuring hand of your friend next door.

Cancer Patients – Anyone who has received a cancer diagnosis and is at any stage of treatment
Cancer Co-patients – Anyone who is the spouse, relative or close friend of a cancer patient
Caregivers – Anyone providing in-person physical, mental or emotional support for a cancer patient

Support Groups

Our support groups are structured and facilitated groups where members can connect with others facing similar challenges and experiences related to cancer.

Gilda’s Club Memphis’ workshops and educational sessions cover a range of topics related to cancer, such as coping strategies, nutrition, and stress management.

Mind-body Activities

We offer activities for your mind and body, including yoga, meditation, and tai chi, which are designed to help individuals reduce stress and improve overall well-being.

Social and Recreational Activities

Gilda’s Club Memphis offers a variety of fun and engaging activities, such as art classes, cooking demonstrations, and game nights, to help individuals connect with others and build a sense of community.

Kids and Teens Programs

Gilda’s Club Memphis has programs specifically for children and teenagers affected by cancer, providing a supportive and understanding environment where they can connect with others and work through their experiences.

Every Gilda’s Club Memphis program is provided free of charge to members and their families. They create a warm and welcoming environment where individuals can feel supported and valued.
